It is with these two items that our Theisen`s Home Farm Auto story begins.Theisen`s Battery & Electric, founded by Leo and Kathryn Theisen, was located on 8th Street in Dubuque, Iowa. Theisen`s propelled itself from humble beginnings to where we are today with 24 stores across Iowa and Wisconsin spanning four generations strong and growing. Today, our family-owned retail business offers you not only tires and batteries, but thousands of other products for your home, farm and auto needs in our stores and online, serving your vast and unique needs. Early on in our history, managing through several economic ups and downs only strengthened our relationship with our customers. We grew by fulfilling their unique needs and it set the stage for our ongoing philosophy that “people buy from people, not from companies”. Jim Theisen, our president, joined his parents in 1956 and today is quick to remind associates and customers alike about this firm essential Theisen belief.
